Glomfjord has its own container port, and on behalf of the owner Meløy Havnebygg, Terje Halsan AS operates all the activity over the harbor and the deep-water quay.

The main activity today is shipping mineral fertilizer from Yara in containers, and handling the empty containers that come back by ship. Meløy Havnebygg can also receive production equipment and goods of all sizes, and since we have a large and rich machine park available, we ensure that this is transported on by truck or by means of other lifting and loading equipment. We can also pick up objects of all sizes and make the necessary promises in connection with shipping over the quay. The container port also has storage space, where we can receive and temporarily store all types of packages in all sizes.
